Caribbean Cricket Podcast was created in September 2019 with a mission to bring West Indies Cricket media to the diaspora.

Machel Hewitt and Santokie Nagulendran represent a dying breed in the UK, life-long dedicated West Indian cricket fans under the age of 40.

The Caribbean Cricket Podcast journey has been self-funded since its inception and has grown exponentially in that time, leading to mentions on Sky Sports Cricket and written features in The Cricketer and Wisden.

We previously had a partnership with the Caribbean Premier League which alleviated some of the self-funding issues - however that has since come to an end. Therefore the only way for us to continue as a viable medium and ensure the product matches the demand is to reach out to you the supporter base.

You have been the drivers behind the great engagement we get (Feb 2021 - 3.3 million tweet impressions, August 2021 - 4.1 million tweet impressions) and some of the written content we deliver but ultimately the goal of the Patreon will be to cover the current production costs and be able to improve the quality of what we do going forward.

If it means Santokie and Machel can afford a coffee along the way and more importantly pay some of our written contributors all the better.
