In July the Caribbean Cricket Podcast surpassed 600k views on You Tube. 

We have witnessed exponential growth in 2023 and we are delighted to have recently passed 600k views on the channel.

Caribbean Cricket Podcast to be part of the BBC County Cricket Comms team 2023

We are delighted to announce that both Machel and Santokie will be part of the BBC domestic cricket commentary teams in 2023. 

Machel has already featured on BBC Kent, 5 Sports extra and BBC London covering Kent and Surrey respectively. 

Santokie will make his debut covering Kent and Middlesex in late April/early May.

PRESS RELEASE - Caribbean Cricket Podcast To Cover CST20

One of world cricket’s leading podcasts, the Caribbean Cricket Podcast (CCP), will cover this year’s Cool and Smooth T20 tournament, set to bowl off on April 13th in Antigua. The podcast covers West Indies cricket and provides a way for the West Indian diaspora globally to stay in touch with the West Indies team while maintaining their fond appreciation for the sport. CCP has developed a massive following worldwide and has surged to the top of the cricket podcast charts in the last few months. Currently, over 4,300 people subscribe to them on YouTube, and the podcast recently crossed 11,000 followers on Twitter as it continues to grow its reach.

For the tournament, CCP will be providing exclusive interviews with both local and overseas players, hosting Twitter spaces during matches, and providing weekly wrap ups on their YouTube channel to allow fans to keep up with all of the action.

Public relations officer Nikhil Uttamchandani spoke on the importance of having a podcast like the Caribbean Cricket Podcast on board for this year’s tournament:

Machel contributed to the article with some thoughts about how the situation is applicable to West Indies cricket as well.

CCP hits 50,000 downloads

We are delighted to announce that Caribbean Cricket Podcast has hit the 50,000 download mark. 2023 has marked a new strategy for the podcast where we merge all of our you tube content with our audio platforms. 

This has allowed the supporters of the Caribbean Cricket Podcast to have greater access to all our content and specific platforms of their choice.

Consequently we have now hit 50,000 audio downloads thanks to all those who have supported and continue to support our content
